Overview of the technology
Drive controller:
- Automation bundles for operation on market-standard controllers – simple and scalable end-to-end solutions
- Fully pluggable, non-ventilated unit with 14 I/Os, LED display and IR interface
- Use of the latest automation products from SEW‑EURODRIVE to ensure global service capability and long-lasting product availability
- MOVITRAC® advanced inverter, UHX controller with MOVIKIT® RGS software module (RGS = Rail Guided System) for barcode positioning, standard roller conveyor load handling device and manual controller
- Communication options: PROFINET/EtherNet/IPTM via CAN rail bus or slotted waveguide
- Safe communication via slotted waveguide and PROFINET/PROFIsafe
- Scalable safety functions for occupational safety, fire safety function and load-dependent acceleration
- Can be combined with asynchronous motors and synchronous motors for energy-saving solutions complying with IE3/IE4. Special electrified monorail gear unit series for desynchronizing in idle state.

Modern-day logistics would be inconceivable without electrified monorail systems (EMS), floor track systems (FTS) and pallet transfer shuttles (PTS). They are an essential part of our customers' plants and production facilities when it comes to logistics services. In particular, these systems represent the logistical backbone of spare parts and logistics centers, connecting the warehouse to incoming goods, order picking and full pallet retrieval sections.
Throughout such centers, these automated systems ensure fast, low-noise and energy-efficient transportation with maximum flexibility. They cover even large distances in no time at all. This paves the way for impressive logistics throughput rates, with excellent availability and high speeds of up to 200 m/min. Using drives with a high setting range also ensures positioning with millimeter precision and dynamic travel.
